James Corden made things hilariously awkward for Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
On The Late Late Show with James Corden, Shawn and Camila got very defensive after James tried to figure out their “relationship”.
Shawn Mendes Reveals He Tried to Kiss Camila Multiple Times
James asked the pair, “There is no way you haven’t made out! Why don’t you?”
Shawn said he tried, but Camila wasn’t having it. “We haven’t really. Oddly enough. Every time I tried to make a move she just like, swears me off.”
James pushed on, “You have made moves?”
Shawn, who kept getting redder, said, “Yeah. Totally!”
James kept going, “You’re saying, when you’ve leaned in, she says no.”
Shawn answered, “Totally! Every time I have tried to make a move, she’s like, NO!”
Camila Throws Shawn Under the Bus: “You NEVER Tried to Make a Move!”
Camila completely denied Shawn’s claims. “He friend-zones me. He calls me KID!”
James continued, “Let’s get to the bottom of this. You’re saying that is completely not true! He has never leaned in?”
Camila said, “He has NEVER leaned in!”
Camila didn’t play along with Shawn’s story. “You have NEVER tried to make a move.”
James joked, “You guys are getting more defensive! Why are you so defensive?”
James said, “It sounds like, you both love each other, but don’t know how to commit. There’s no way you haven’t made out. You totally have!”
James pointed out the pair’s panicking publicists, “Your team of publicists over there are like, OH MY GOD!”
