Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl recently wrapped up the filming for The Amazing Race, where they are – spoiler alert – rumored to make it into the finale.
At the premiere, Tyler praised Team Internet for doing cool things. “I am just a Michigan boy who never thought he would have a movie.”
“It is awesome. I think it is really cool that Tyler has gotten his own movie!” Joey Graceffa said.
Tyler praised his friends. “I am not the only one. There are plenty of YouTubers that are doing such crazy, cool things! Whether it’s movies, or TV, or music. Or whatever. Any time somebody does something like that, it opens the doors for everyone. So, tonight, I hope it is a celebration for the internet.”
“I am blown away that people care about Snervous. I was spending all day just thinking like, I hope people come! I hope people walk the carpet. I hope I see some friends. Everyone I could possibly want to see is here.”
“I hope that people who support my stuff get a new glimpse into me and my world. And see a completely different side of me. For eight years I have been doing my own thing. This is the first time I have let somebody else take control!”
He also gave some YouTube tips. “Be you. Everyone else already exists. If you are trying to replicate your favorite YouTubers, you’re just going to be second-rate. Be the first you. Be irreplaceable.”
